Alexandria on the brink of peak Fall Colors

Tall trees with vibrant orange and red autumn leaves are seen from below in Alexandria on the brink of peak fall colors, their branches spreading against a bright blue sky as sunlight streams through the colorful canopy.

Now that we have had a handful of nights around and slightly below 40 degrees, we can probably expect the colors to progress at a higher rate. Lake Carlos State Park has just upgraded the area’s change to 50-75% so we can expect the best color of the season to arrive within a week or so! The next few photos where taken at Lake Carlos State Park.
