10. Kensington Runestone Park

As mentioned previously, the most unique piece of Alexandria Lakes Area history is the discovery of the Kensington Runestone. A visit to Runestone Park will take you to the discovery site off the artifact, along with an interpretive history display inside the visitor center. The park also has fantastic trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback!
