Pilgrim Point County Park is a scenic Douglas County park on a peninsula extending into Lake Ida, offering peaceful lakeshore access, swimming beaches, and natural beauty just minutes from Alexandria. With shoreline on both sides of the point, parking, walking trails, and water access for boats, SUPs, and personal watercraft, it’s an inviting spot for relaxation, play, and summer water fun.

Pilgrim Point County park is an amazing new Douglas County park located on the peninsula in the middle of Lake Ida.  It includes several acres of land to enjoy with plenty of shoreline on either side, leading to a point that goes out for more than 100 yards into Lake Ida.  Currently Pilgrim Point has bathrooms, parking, and a walking trail.

It has great swimming beaches, plus the sandy shore makes it easy to land your boat, pontoon, personal watercraft or SUP.  In the summer of 2023 the new parking lots and restrooms were constructed.
