Alexandria City Park

Alexandria City Park is a family-friendly public park on the northeast shores of Lake Agnes and Lake Henry, offering lakeside recreation, playgrounds, picnic areas, and plenty of space for outdoor fun just minutes from downtown.

Logo for the City of Alexandria featuring a stylized sun above wavy lines resembling water, with the words “City of Alexandria” in modern lettering—an emblem inspired by local landmarks like Noonan Park.

About Alexandria City Park

Alexandria City Park is located on the northeast side of Lake Agnes and Lake Henry. This park is home to a public swimming beach (no lifeguards present), restrooms with bathhouse, playgrounds, picnic areas, grills, fishing piers and a bandstand.  Recently the tennis courts at City park were refurbished into 8 wonderful outdoor pickleball courts. Outdoor tennis courts are still available to the public, but about a mile east of the park at Discovery Middle School. Alexandria City Park is the home to many puiblic events during the year, but one of the largest is the annual “Art in the Park” Festival held the last Saturday and Sunday in July each year.
