Just a Few Things Going on During the Big 4th of July Weekend

The 4th of July falls on a Monday, but that just means for an extended weekend in the Lakes Area.  Here is a short list of what’s going on in just the Alexandria Area.

July 1-3: Red White & Brew Bash at Copper Trail Brewing Company.

  • FRI: Open 12-11pm with Matt Hagstrom playing from 6-9pm & Smokin’ Brews & Ques 4-8pm
  • SAT: Open 12-11pm with Karaoke starting at 8pm & Ruby’s Pinoy Food Truck from 12-8pm
  • SUN: Open 12-11pm with BREWGO from 7-9pm & Back 40 Wood Fired Pizza from 4-8pm

July 1: Anderson Bash, featuring Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry and Confederate Railroad & Special Guests: Dozzi & Beckett Olson Moffitt. Gates open at 4:30pm.

July 1-3: Bold North Cellars

July 4 STAR STORM 2022 Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center, 10pm    The always impressive fireworks over Lake Darling has become a signature event of fireworks and fun as Alexandria celebrates the 4th of July. Don’t miss the area’s premiere fireworks display! Fireworks displays begins at 10pm.

July 4: Live Music On The Water by Robb Justice, in front of Lake Darling Resort from 7-9pm. This event is open to the public on the water only.

July 4: Boat Parade on Lake Carlos, around 10am.  Best viewing from shore at either the Carlos/Darling bridge or the Carlos/Le Homme Dieu bridge.

July 1-2: Tarzan, Andria Theatre, 7-9pm. This production is a Student Theatre Project for students ages 12-18.

July 1-2: Glensheen, Theatre L’Homme Dieu. Hit musical from History Theatre in St. Paul. 7:3-9:30pm. Blockbuster hit musical tackles Glensheen murder mystery with wicked dialogue and evocative music.

July 1-3: Baby Chick Watch, Cherry Street Books, 11am-12:30pm

Join Cherry Street Books, the chicken lady and farmer Blair as we learn the life cycle of a baby chicken egg!

 

July 4: Concerts on the Courthouse Lawn, 7-8:30pm, Douglas County Courthouse  A special July 4th-themed show

Patriotic Salute to Service with Katy’s Swing Band. Sing-alongs are a crowd favorite! Patriotic tunes and Gratitude to our Veterans who fought to secure our Freedom.
