17. First Day Hike

Start your year off right by coming to Lake Carlos State Park‘s First Day Hike (or snowshoe, if the conditions allow for it). Snowshoes will be provided for those that need them. The naturalist will take you out on a winter adventure to see the sights. A frozen lake, a snow swept prairie, or a few snow glistened trees are not out of the question. The guided hike will begin at 1pm, or come anytime to go for a walk, run, snowshoe, ski, skate, sledding or any other snow activities on your own. January 1st, 2017.
