Restaurant Week in Alexandria

A variety of colorful dishes surround the words "Alexandria Restaurant Week—Learn of delicious and unique items at Alexandria Area restaurants" on a dark background.

Alexandria has long promoted its natural environment, the lakes, the trails, the parks and more. Sometimes lost in the shuffle is the variety of locally-owned restaurants, providing their own spin on their menus. Although certainly not a complete list, with suggestions from the restaurants themselves, we put together several menu items from the locally-owned Alexandria Area restaurants in the following categories:

*MONDAY – Breakfasts (Learn of a handful of breakfast items at local Alexandria Area Restaurants)

*TUESDAY – Appetizers (Gather with friends or family and enjoy these delicious Alexandria Area apps)

*WEDNESDAY – Burgers (Find out which burgers are the most popular on their menus)

*THURSDAY – Pizza (Here are several of the local pizzas that get ordered most)

*FRIDAY – Entrée (With the many entrée options available, we feature a handful of popular choices)

*SATURDAY – Beverages (We could have made 10 lists of great drinks, but here are just a few of them)

*SUNDAY – Sweet Treats (Like the tail end of the week, we feature the tail end of the meal, the good stuff)

This in no way is a complete list. Please let us know what we missed and why “your favorites” should be on next year’s list and part of someone’s next meal now! Contact us: info@explorealex.com or look for our posts on Facebook each day and make your favorites known!
