About Lake Wobegon Trail

Named after the fictitious Lake Wobegon town in Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion”, Lake Wobegon Trail is a 62 mile trail which was once the abandoned railroad corridor that runs from Avon to Sauk Centre. This trail connects to the Central Lakes Trail in Osakis, just 10 miles east of Alexandria.
